Understand, from the get go: What is CBDa? Benefits, How it Works, & Differs from CBD
What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is one of over 100 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. It's non-psychoactive and doesn't produce a "high".
What is CBDa?
CBDa (cannabidiolic acid) is the precursor to CBD. It's found in raw hemp plants and converts to CBD when extracted, exposed to direct sunlight or room temperature. EverLife Wellness is the only brand with proven full spectrum CBDa on the market.
How do CBD and CBDa work?
They work with your body's receptors, enzymes, and governing systems like your endocannabinoid (ECS) system. CBDa carries its own unique properties, learn more here
Is CBDa Legal?
Our Hemp-Derived Full Spectrum CBDa is federally legal as it fulfills the regulations:
1. Must be hemp-derived (Low or non-existent THC).
2. Must confirm products contain 0 - 0.3% THC through verified lab test.
*Check with your state to view state laws*
While the majority of states accept our products, some states have different age restrictions for ingestible hemp products.
Will CBDa Make Me High? (NO)
No, neither CBD nor CBDa produces psychoactive effects like THC does.
How Long Does It Take To Feel?
Effects can vary, but typically onset is within 5 - 25 minutes. You may feel creams affects instantly, while pills tend to take longer than oils (Tinctures).
Will CBD or CBDa interact with medications?
Both can potentially interact with certain medications. It's important to consult with a healthcare provider. We provide resources to share current known interactions within our "Learn" tab.

Can CBD or CBDa cause a positive drug test?
Our Hemp-Derived Full Spectrum CBDa is federally legal as it fulfills the regulations:
1. Must be hemp-derived (Low or non-existent THC).
2. Must confirm products contain 0 - 0.3% THC through verified lab test.
We have received no positive drug tests to date. However, everyone is different and some companies use different kinds of tests with varying THC indicators. So, it is advised that you do not consume our products if you have an upcoming drug test with un-known THC limits.
THC is stored in your body's fat, therefore, taking higher dosages of CBDa (such as our 50mg pills) may showcase extremely small amounts of THC if taken before a test.
Legality of a failed drug test in states with THC restrictions:
- Should you receive a 'positive' drug test by only consuming our products you will not be prosecuted in your state as the legal threshold of THC is impossible to reach, even if you'd consume an entire bottle of 50mg CBDa pills (not recommended)
- Athletes: Professional or collegiate athletes both have varying restrictions based on their competitive brackets. It is impossible to exceed the federally legal threshold of THC by consuming the recommended dosage of our products.
What's the difference between full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, and CBD isolate?
Full-spectrum CBD contains all the naturally occurring compounds found in the hemp plant, including:
- CBD (Cannabidiol)
- Other cannabinoids (including trace amounts of THC, up to 0.3%)
- Terpenes
- Flavonoids
- Essential oils
The key advantage of full-spectrum CBD/CBDa is the "entourage effect," a synergistic interaction between all these compounds that may enhance the overall therapeutic benefits.
Broad-spectrum CBD/CBDa is similar to full-spectrum but with one key difference:
- THC is completely removed in further processing. This reduces the sought after 'entourage effect'
We focus on full spectrum in order to preserve the most natural form and ensure CBDa potency without further processing.
